Q. What do you mean by en-suite? En-suite rooms are rooms with their own private bathroom. At Cloverley Hall there are 17 en-suite rooms available at an additional cost. Most rooms at the conference will utilize shared bathrooms. These are considered "standard" rooms in the pricing guide. Q. Do you have disabled rooms available? There are limited disabled rooms available at this venue so if you are someone who NEEDS this option, please contact us as soon as possible. Q. Is it possible to get a single room to myself at the conference if I'm travelling on my own? There are 4 standard single rooms at this conference venue at additional cost. These are allocated at a first come, first served basis. As with the basic shared standard, single standard rooms are all within easy reach of shared shower and bath facilities on each wing. Q. What do you mean by "adult shared standard/en-suite"? There are very few single rooms available at this conference venue. The prices listed are per person for shared accommodation. For those travelling on their own to the conference, we will be allocating you in rooms with other individual travels unless you opt for one of the few standard single rooms at an extra cost. If you are coming with friends who you would prefer to room with, please indicate this on your booking form in the additional comments section. If you are coming with a spouse or family, we will allocate you a couple/family room. Standard rooms (without an en-suite) are all within easy reach of shared shower and bath facilities on each wing. Q. Are towels/bed linens provided? All beds have pillows, duvets, and all necessary bedding. Please bring your own towels and toiletries. Q. Can the conference venue accommodate my special dietary needs? If you have allergies or food intolerances that would need to be catered to please remember to include this information in the additional comments on the booking form. We will then liaise with the conference venue in advance for you.
Booking:
Q. Who do I contact with my booking forms and questions not answered here? If you are in the USA, you'll be working primarily with Briana Prins. If you are in Singapore, please contact Cheryl Lim. Anywhere else will be working with Kristin Crossett. Go to the Booking tab above for contact information for each of them. Q. The form and this website states "first come, first serve" with regards to booking. Do I need to be concerned about everything filling up right away and not getting a spot? First come, first serve is more with regards to specific room requests (we have limited numbers of single rooms, disabled rooms, etc). We are confident that we will be able to comfortably fit everyone that books in, but specific requests for room assignments will be met based on availability when you book. That being said, it greatly helps us (and you) if you don't wait until the last minute to register! Q. Is full payment due when I register? For those in the USA, Briana (the booking secretary) would prefer the payment all in one go. Cheryl Lim will be organizing payment details with those in Singapore. For those in the UK we will only need a 20% deposit when you register and then the rest by a date specified when we release the booking forms. For those outside of the areas specified above, contact Kristin Crossett to arrange payment. Q. When is payment due? For those in the USA, your full payment is due by [date still to be specified]. For those booking in the UK, your 20% deposit is required when you register for a spot and the remainder of the payment is due by 20 June 2024. For those booking outside of the USA and the UK, please speak with your booking secretary to make arrangements for payment times/methods. Q. What is the cost in US dollars? Due to shifts in currency exchange, prices for USA booking are subject to change. You can check current exchange rates to get a ball-park figure. US attendees pay all in one go, rather than sending a 20% deposit to start. Once your booking form is in to Briana Prins she will add you to an email list and give you details as to the final cost in US dollars closer to the payment due date. Q. If I'm paying by check, who do I write the check to? If you are paying from the UK, checks must be payable to the "British Reformed Fellowship" (NOT to the "BRF") If you are paying from the USA, Briana Prins will confirm who to make the cheques out to closer to the time. Q. Can I pay via bank transfer? Yes, please contact your allocated booking secretary for online bank transfer details.
Travel:
Q. Where should I fly into in order to get to the Conference? A. There are quite a few options for you. Check out the "Travel" tab above for tips and helpful links. Q. Will there be airport pick-ups/drop offs available to get us from our airport to the Conference and back (or to a B&B before/after)? A. Given the small size of the BRF and the multiple options for when/where people arrive, we will not be able to offer individual pick-ups or drop-offs before or after the conference. We will be adding a Getting There tab above with more detailed suggestions for getting from point A to B and help with figuring out public transport etc. The same goes for if you plan to visit the CPRC before/after the conference. They are too small of a group and there tend to be too many visitors around the conference time to accommodate collections/transportation for everyone.
Day Trips/Activities:
Q. Do I need to go on the day trips? No, these are optional extras. If you aren't interested in them you can use that time as you wish. Q. Do I need to make a decision on the day trips now? Because we need to have definite numbers for the group bookings for Blists Hill Victorian Town and the Chester Medieval Walking Tour prior to the conference, please sign-up and pay for the coach trips that you want to go on when you book for the conference. Q. Do I need to pay for the day trips in advance? Because we need to have definite numbers for the group bookings for Blists Hill Victorian Town and the Chester Medieval Walking Tour prior to the conference, please sign-up and pay for the coach trips that you want to go on when you book for the conference. Q. When are each of the day trips happening? The dates - and order- of the trips haven't yet been finalized and won't be until closer to conference time.
